Assessment for Grades 1 to 9
(CAPS aligned, term-to-term and grade progression)
OPSA strongly supports the concept that formal Assessment should not be seen a goal in itself.
The goal with all teaching should be to help the learner develop a love of learning.
The primary role with Assessment should be to gauge the level of learning that has taken place and even more importantly to point out possible learning gaps that should be addressed.
- OPSA offers Assessment tests/examination to help home tutors assess the progress of learners from Term to Term and the learner’s readiness to progress to the next grade.
- Available in English and Afrikaans for subjects offered on the OPSA platform.
- Fully aligned to the national CAPS specification for the grade year.
- Facilitated by SACE registered teachers, so the certificate is accepted by the DBE.
- Available for the following grades: Gr 1 to 9. (No formal Assessment for Gr R.)
- Can be purchased as a standalone item.
- Included as part of a 12-Month Learner Account for the selected grade. The learner gets access to the Assessment Tests relevant to his/her selected grade.
