OPSA is delighted to introduce Coding and Robotics courses for grade 1 to 3 students as a separate offering from our day-to-day curriculum support program.
These courses, available in English and Afrikaans, aim to equip students with essential digital skills for success in the modern world.
As part of our commitment to comprehensive education, the Coding and Robotics courses are included free of charge for our day-to-day learners in grade 1 to 3.
Key Features of Our Coding and Robotics Program:
- Aligned with the CAPS Curriculum: Our program covers the grade 1, 2, and 3 CAPS Curriculum, ensuring a seamless transition for students as they progress through their academic journey. Grade 4, 5, and 6 courses will also build upon the foundation laid in the earlier grades.
- Comprehensive Lesson Structure: With 120 lessons, our Coding and Robotics program offers a comprehensive learning experience, providing students with a strong foundation in programming concepts and hands-on robotics activities.
- Regular Assessments: To ensure optimal progress, we conduct regular assessments to track students' learning and offer guidance for improvement. Our goal is to keep students on track and provide them with personalized support when needed
